Greetings all! My name is Nick, and I’ll be the new caretaker of the Gallery of Regrets for the foreseeable future. I enjoy such things as a fine gin and tonic at the end of the day, eating out more often than I should, and spending money on things I can’t afford (a habit that informs the first two things on this list).

The one major change you can expect to see here is a marked increase in the amount of everything; more posts, more features, and more fun for the whole family. Since I’m merely an invisible interwebz moderator, imagine me as you would the above tattoo: mustachioed, gentlemanly, and residing in an entirely undersized living space.

This Makes Sense

This guy is obviously a serious Pokémon trainer, which, if you ask me, is kind of like calling someone a serious unicycle rider or a serious Tae Bo participant.

Anyway, I can’t think off a better way to celebrate a line of toys and games geared toward small children than to shove some synthetic balls under your skin.

Since the Internet is Serious Business and someone always cries in the comments when I don’t recognize every single juvenile meme that people decide would make a hilarious tattoo, I went ahead and looked this one up. Naturally, I ended up at Encyclopædia Dramatica (NSFW, unless you work for the Catholic Church), and now I’m pretty sure I have about seven different viruses (both computer and bodily), plus a general feeling of dirtiness.

So, in conclusion: fuck research. If I wanted to spend my time doing that shit, I’d be a research assistant (though I do have the posture for it). From now on, all tattoos will be accompanied by an unrelated haiku that I write while I’m drunk (i.e. any time after 10:30 am):
