Why exactly would they be stupid? They’re probably tattoo artists themselves seeing as most respectable tattoo studios won’t tattoo hands and it’s decent quality work. This site was good when it was more about poor quality tattoos and less about laughing at the culture.

I don’t see the problem. They obviously mean something to somebody, I don’t see anything offensive or bad with them.
“Ugly” does not necessarily mean offensive. It doesn’t even mean badly done.
A tattoo can be well done technically, and perfectly suitable for family viewing, and STILL be ugly as hell. These fingers are a case in point.
