I honestly don’t think I’d be able to sit still long enough for a whole tattoo on my ear.

i don’t have this part done, but i don’t think it would hurt as much as the ribs or the inside of the upper arm near the armpit.
definitely a body part that would be hard to work on.
Yeah, people say the ribs and chest (by the collar bones) really hurt the most. I’ve had both these places inked with large, intricate tattoos and it never really bothered me.
Maybe I have congenital analgesia.

Can’t be – seals and penguins, old chap – both have genitalia. I’ll bet he means Attu Island at the westernmost end of the Aleutians. No wildlife and hence no genitalia.

Certainly wouldn’t hurt in the Winter. Eighty below zero Fahrenheit – you’d be lucky to feel a double negative biting your nose off, let alone a little tattoo needle.

I have a tattoo in my left ear. Not so much painful as REALLY FREAKING LOUD.
Fortunately for me, mine’s not ugly. Like this one. The good news is she can wear her hair pulled forward and no one needs to know.
I’ve got one in my right ear, and it was the same for me..didn’t hurt, but it was really loud. My tattooist put a bit of cotton in my ear to help with the noise..it didn’t work.

I met a girl who had a similar tattoo. When I saw her again two years later it was a colored smudge with no recognizable shape.

I wasn’t sure about pen, but it did look henna-ish to me. It’s shiny ink and the skin’s not irritated. So, not a new tattoo and not an old tattoo. It just looks a LOT like henna to me.
Oooo, on closer look, the ear does look reddened…hmm. Perhaps real after all. Fail.

Actually, this spot for a tattoo hurts the least. I’ve spoken to numerous tattoo artists, and people who have a tattoo in that spot, and they all say it doesn’t hurt. Just saying.
I have some small stars on my ear and it didn’t hurt that bad at all actually.
I have a tattoo on my earlobe and it was not painful in the least. My best friend had leopard print tattooed inside both ears and she said it hurt more than any of her other pieces. I don’t know about the cartilage, but I’ve had mine for about 12 years and it isn’t blurry.
Don’t have any ear tattoos, but do have behind my ears tatted. It’s not so bad but it is loud.
This doesn’t even look like a tattoo, it looks like something you’d let your friend doodle on you when you’re bored in class. If it is real, I hope it was free or cheap. I wouldn’t pay for that!
Actually I have one, it doesn’t hurt as much as you would think. I have five total and it hurt the least with the inside of my rm, below the elbow being the worst. I love my ear one!

Ive got a heart in my ear, most painful of my 4 tattoos and it needed to be redone twice.
I have Dream tattooed in my ear and it didnt hurt at all.. it was very loud and shook the corner of my eyelid so it felt funny

I actually have a tattoo in my ear, obviously better looking than this, and it doesn’t hurt it at all. All you can feel is vibration.
