  1. Czernobog says:

Now that’s just too bad. Looks like she’d clean up nice.

    • Brian says:

Yeah, but she’d still be just as stupid.

    • Cleopatra says:

I’m not so sure about that, with those asymmetrical pupils and mannish chin.

      • Anna Rexia says:

        Mannish chin? Are you kidding?

        • Cleopatra says:

I am not kid. To me, chin looks like it belongs on a man. Not that a woman couldn’t pull it off … but it just says “man” to me.

Scroll up slowly from this post, and stop before the curvy, full, girly lower lip. I would guess Guy from the chin.

          • Anna Rexia says:

I see what you’re saying. I think it’s because one side is slightly lower than the other. I also see a scar, and it makes it look worse. Overall, though, I’ve seen much more masculine chins on women (and feminine chins on men).

          • Fred Cloot says:

…holy hell, you’re right. That is one lantern-jawed lady. Between the jaw and the ruined left eye and the widow’s peak hair there’s a lot that the public needs to be distracted from.

          • tara says:

Look real close on the upper lip…looks like stubble. And not a little feathery hair women sometimes get there…shaved stubble.

            • Lala says:

I see shaved stubble too. It looks like a shaved chin & upper lip -if you look closely you can see the slight difference in color of the skin. I really really think this is a man. Too bad we can’t see the neck more to look for an Adam’s Apple.

      • Sarah says:

agreed. i don’t think she’d clean up all that well. don’t forget the scabs.

        • Owl says:

I think it’s the expression that makes me doubt she’d “clean up nice.” She looks shifty to me.

          • Mickey Jones says:

She -was- unquestionably cute. It’s her brain that’s broken.

            • bolero The Darth Decent says:

It’s too bad…A lobotomy could have prevented this monstrosity. Does anyone else think that she looks like she might be going through chemo? Now I feel bad. She probably has cancer, and we’re making fun of her attempt to embolden herself for when she loses all of her hair.

        • delirium says:

i think the scabs are a bridge piercing … also gone horribly wrong … but what i want to know … is what’s up with the mess around her hairline …

      • nmf says:

i thought she was wearing novelty contacts.

        • Me says:

Fresh tat on forehead and I bet her eye makeup is smeared from tears. She is a pretty girl who is now stuck with jobs in the tattooing/piercing industry, circus, adult entertainment, etc. I have over 40 tats and and am in my mid 50′s. Female as well. I have a few regrets.

          • Mickey Jones says:

            There’s tats and there’s TATS.

There should be a three day waiting period for any facial tattoo. Enough time for the drugs to wear off.

            • hah says:

              I second that

            • disigner says:

I’d agree, but any decent tattoo artist usually has a waiting list anyway. Enough time for people to think better of it, I would hope.

From what I’ve seen from the facebook links, the artist was offering face tattoos for free – if they were what he wanted to do… red flag in my book.

          • gitzy says:

I work in the circus, no way could she get a job on a show with that on her head.

    • kayk says:

Maybe — she looks like Drew Barrymore on a really, really, REALLY bad day.

  2. Khepria says:

    That looks instantly regrettable

  3. Aprince66 says:

Why not just tattoo LOOK AT ME on her forehead instead.

Property of ST Olaf lololol. The scroll over comments are the best

  4. disigner says:

    This makes me sad.

  5. Amber says:

good luck trying to find a job

  6. suicideking says:

couldn’t even get both earlobes stretched properly and/or evenly. lOOKS AS IF SHE’S HAD BAD LUCK WITH PIERCINGS TOO…. This was a BAD IDEA.

    • Anna Rexia says:

Not everyone stretches piercings symmetrically. One of mine is slightly larger than the other. At first it was because one would not stretch further, but I decided I liked it. For what it’s worth, they’re only 4g and 6g respectively. That’s not even close to the girl pictured, but it doesn’t look like she was going for symmetry anyway. I think it favours her fine.

  7. bulletproof says:

Nicely done tattoo, but poor location.

  8. chris wright says:

Are you kidding me? I have alot of tats, but to put them on your face like that is a tad crazy, unless your career is a tat artist…..lol

  9. trollolo says:

It’s really drawing attention to the psoriasis problem she’s got going on there…

    • Anna Rexia says:

Which part are you referring to? The ink along her hairline from just having had this done? The irritated right eyebrow line from it being shaved to have the tattoo done? The two spots at her nose bridge, where her bridge piercing was removed so it wouldn’t get in the way while getting the tattoo? Her flushed cheeks from just having sat through slightly more extensive tattoo?

      Any of those?

      • trollolo says:

Nah. The red blotchy stuff in her hair line. You know … the part untouched by ink. Wouldn’t get irritated like that unless touched by ink, which it’s not, or if she has psoriasis, which she apparently does.

        Ah well.

It’s really the least of her worries.

  10. Stevus says:

Her eyes are messed up too. She’s all asymmetrical.

    • Anna Rexia says:

FYI, when you look far to one side like that, your eyes do the same thing. That is if your eyes are normal.

    • Jane_Doe says:

Symmetrical faces don’t work; all normal faces are asymmetrical. Perhaps the presentation in this photo accentuates that, but as others have pointed out, that’s probably not the way the subject looks when she’s not just had work done. The tatt itself also seems to render things less symmetrical, but hey – we’re dealing with organic shapes here, right?

  11. that girl says:

things like this just make me sad

  12. RevGreg says:

What’s up with the rash in her hairline there? She may look like she’d “clean up nice” like Czernobog said but it doesn’t look like she does very often.

  13. Benny says:

    Someone’s got “Derpies”…

  14. a free plant for fat slobs says:

Sadly, this thing is so huge that I’m guessing that the only way it’d look remotely in-proportion is if she got her entire face tatted, and well, that’d just make matters worse. I’ve seen a few people work customer-service jobs with neck tattoos, but this poor girl better get ready for a lifetime of employment at carnivals.

  15. Lipglossjunky says:

Now THAT’S a decision someone makes when they aren’t planning to live long enough to regret it…

  16. packmanfan says:

And what kind of hairstyle/cut is that!?
Is that masking tape she’s using to hold her hair down?

It would have looked better smaller and on back of her shoulder or maybe even her breast.
Yeah, too big and wrong location.
At least it’s a nicely done rose.

    • Owl says:

It seems to me she has a longish Mohawk, and the tape is likely holding her hair back for the tattoo process, not as a habitual accessory. Then again…

    • courtney says:

the masking tape is to hold the hair back, i had my ear tatted yesterday and they put masking tape on my hair too

  17. shanahahaha says:

At least there’s something pretty on her face…

  18. Lena says:

It’s not a bad tattoo … but ON YOUR FOREHEAD???!!!

  19. robert Wolfe says:

when tattoos and piercing are done in a way that looks good, I can appreciate it. But this one has absolutely nothing done right. I can see making one mistake, but this many is way too much

  20. Jill says:

I am looking at her eyes, the iris is slightly off-center. So what?
We all are how we are, she remains here, very very attractive…

And then we see her hair line. What ever has happened here? There are problem zones you wouldn’t expect in a young person. I don’t know why.
    _____

    The forehead tattoo?
A rose: because everyone knows that a rose is pretty and she does want to remain feminine and pretty. But it is not pretty because the tattoo dominates and overtakes all the attention we might otherwise give to her lovely natural face. She was very pretty, no?

Am a simple person. All my life I have liked being pretty. It’s hard for me to understand how someone who IS pretty decides to fùck it up with a tattoo which, if she liked it so, could have been inscribed somewhere else on her body.

But this is just me being very judgmental.

  21. mookie says:

You can see she’s given up trying to make eye contact – what’s the point when everyone focuses two inches above your peepers?

Also I smell regret in those weird eyes’ gaze and it’s almost heartbreaking.

  22. CJ says:

I am surprised no one else spotted this…where are her eyebrows? Possibly shaved for the tattoo, but judging from the rest of this train wreck, it seem likely that she keeps them shaved off. Strange, strange, sad, damaged girl. She’s going to keep going until she is no longer pretty at all. I am pretty sure that, psychologically, that is the goal.

    • Owl says:

“Pretty,” as I think we’ve learned from this site, is highly, highly subjective.

As for the eyebrows, I know that there are people who shave them regularly as an aesthetic choice, and either draw them on in various shapes and colors with makeup or leave them bald. I don’t get it myself, but apparently it’s a thing.

  23. senseoftaste says:

I guess I should be more aghast by the forehead tattoo but I can’t get over the absence of eyebrows. Maybe it’s just residual scarring from watching The Wall at a young age…possibly reinforced by the girl in Gummo.

  24. Cheryl says:

Hey, if she decides to go corporate, she could always grow bangs.

  25. no, no, no says:

I have been looking at this website for a long time now, but this is actually the first picture that has made me cry. It is just so so sad. Everything about it. As a teacher, on the forefront of my mind is how much energy and work it is a for a society to raise even one child, and it’s jsut so hard to think I’m breaking my back (metaphorically) everyday for my kids, just so they can do this to themselves.

    • kytfox says:

No, (<-both name and reply), if you are breaking your back and listening to the children that are at home and at school, especially the one kid that always hangs around and is sometimes a bit of a nuisance, you will make a difference! Maybe not to every single one, if their home life and such overwhelms them you, as a teacher, can only do so much, but for the rest you can make a difference by doing even small things, showing them that they are valued! It took only one teacher for me, and her value of me started the change that kept that photo from being me. Please do not give up!

      • Anna Rexia says:

It took only one teacher to make me care about being able to read and to write in a manner befitting of a decent education. She was my 10th grade English teacher. I had previously attended three years of preparatory school, followed by one year at a school in a hick town, where the curriculum was less intense than watching Romper Room, and then one year in a ghetto school. The English teacher I’ll forever remember and credit for making the subject interesting, taught at the ghetto school. Closed campus with a barbed-wire fence around it, hallway stabbings, and everything else that goes with the worst school in town. She (the teacher) cared about educating students and made me care, too. After the one year in hickville, then the school in the ‘hood, I was ready to give up.

See, “no, no, no?” Changing the life of even one kid can make a huge difference.

        • kytfox says:

Miss Anna, & No, Kaye Sanders was my 10th grade AP English teacher, I could read but I had so many other things at home and school I was an entire geek squad in a 80lb body. But Miss Saunders discovered that I was dyslexic, if I had not memorized it I could not read it or spell it, and spelling is a whole new language when you have to spell it when it doesn’t spell the way it reads. Why I’m saying this is that just a little extra time with me lead her to see what no one else looked for. Because I could read better than anyone else they never looked. I was ready to drop out of school. But I thanked her by being a teacher in an environment where I could be with the kids, kids I cared for and gave the best start, not just in education but in knowing to trust to themselves for the answer.. We all need to give kids a few minutes, just let them feel valued. Then maybe they will not tattoo “LOOK AT ME” on their face.

          • kytfox says:

tl:dr \=we need to value kids now or that need ends up on their face.

            • Anna Rexia says:

I read all of it, but you did summarise it well.

The first time I learned to read, it was from asking my mother to read to me letters to and from her sister. She would follow the words with her finger as she went. The problem was, it was upside down to me, and in cursive. I had to re-learn from scratch, the next time using those ABCs I’d already learned. It was weird.

  26. rickybobby says:

“Sinead O’Rebellion! Shock me shock me shock with that deviant behavior!”

  27. barb says:

I think that’s a guy. Look at the jawline and upper-lip (hint of facial hair shadow)……

  28. Thothistox says:

Mental patient tattoo of the week…

  29. dana says:

sad,and her lip piercing hurts to look at.

  30. Darius says:

I like the tattoo and think that the girl is cute, with a nice smile and pretty skin (I think Ana’s right and the discoloring we see is just fresh ink smears). But damn, isn’t she just marking herself for life. I am SO glad that purple hair dye and heavy goth-boy eyeliner wash or fade out eventually, otherwise I’d be working at the Starbucks this girl’s probably gonna be working at for a looong time.

    • Anna Rexia says:

I’m over 40 and I still dye my hair pink. It was mostly purple when I worked the 8-5 professional world grind. I also had two visible tattoos (both on my right calf). That was in 1991, when such things in the corporate world were unheard of. Being intelligent and knowing how to present yourself can make a difference.

      • Darius says:

Very true. But, trust me, my CPA boss would not be amused with a staff accountant who wore more pancake makeup and eye liner than the guy’s wife, even if he was down with the purple hair and the multiple ear piercings. Our Rose has a professional life filled with (sorry) thorns ahead of her, if she goes for the office life.

But maybe that’s not what she wants. God knows I don’t want to spend the next 40 years in the grind, even if I am willing to admit more colors than black into my wardrobe these days.

        • Anna Rexia says:

          LOVE the pun!

I stopped racing with the rats after that job and returned to my first love (music). Now, I can have all the tattoos I can afford (ironically, I can’t afford them as much as when I worked the corporate grind, and I spend way more on gear than ink) and my wardrobe doesn’t matter.

          /poorbuthappier

      • kytfox says:

Miss Anna, I’ve never met you but…. You’re my idol!

  31. ShadowQuest says:

That purple eyeshadow makes her eyes looked bruised.

Which…does not help the overall look.

  32. kyoobie says:

The asymmetry in her face disturbs me. This makes me sad in a way I can’t quite put my finger on.

  33. machammon says:

It covers the lobotomy scar very nicely.

  34. CM says:

I wish we could hear from this person. So many questions.

  35. I think the eyes are ‘shopped to make her look more “derpy”. The one on the left (her right) has a weird bumpiness on the sclera that doesn’t seem natural.

  36. organicbubblegum says:

    hope shes got long bangs!

  37. Beavis says:

The derp is strong in this one.

  38. TheFoot says:

Hmmm a good example of how an otherwise oddly cute woman can really botch it all up with a number of poor choices…

Then again they are her choices to make.

  39. hannah says:

….why the hell would you do that?! When she’s like 60 she’ll think “why the holy fU1K did i get that!?”

shoulda got “dumbass” tattooed across your head instead

    • boots says:

if you’re not going to live to 60, or in some cases 30, then why not?

if her life is going to be short, then she can darn well do as she pleases with it.

  40. Lisa says:

Well, I guess that’s one way to deal with a slightly large forehead…

  41. kasey says:

Well, it is THE most effective way to hide your forehead acne…

  42. Saturday Sportsman says:

Well, now there’s less competition in the dwindling job market.

  43. varenoea says:

That’s like Tank Girl but stupid and with some bad skin disease. On the bridge of her nose, where she has taken out that one piercing, the holes look… infected.

  44. xavier (captain obvious) says:

“So i’m ready for our blind date, but how will I know who you are?”

“Oh i’m the half-bald woman with 7 face piercings and a rose across the forehead.”

  45. Sasayaki says:

I regularly dye my hair alpine green. However, that and a single earring is as far as I go with body modification. I think it looks pretty damned good on me, though I’m sure other people look at me and go “wtf was she thinking”.

But seriously, WHAAAT? Who sees a tattoo of a rose and goes “Hey that’d look good on my forehead :D !”? Well, ok, she does look like she’s ran face-first into a wall a few times…

  46. Julia says:

She looks like a partially aborted Drew Barrymore

  47. Brandon says:

I see a Derp in there too.

  48. Anne says:

Can I just add that this tattoo artist is also the artist involved in the whole “I didn’t want the stars” stuff..
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1193384/What-did-expect-Incredible-face-revealed-man-tattooed-girl-56-stars-asked-three.html

He used to do facial tattoos for free.. I mean come on.. That’s just crazy..
Artist makes pretty nice tattoos but really has to work on his morals..

  49. Lucy says:

I think it’s just to distract us from her moustache.

  50. Christine says:

Someone on the artist’s facebook page made the comment that one of the people with a facial tattoo looked young…the artists response?

Toumaniantz Rouslan: How old should you be to vote? How old should you be to get married, to get a child? Plus, once you have voted for Hitler, once you have a child that you don’t want anymore, can you erase any of them with a laser? Can you hide Hitler with Dermablend?

…not sure I follow his logic.

Oh, and he goes on and on and bloody on about how society judges, people are getting facial tattoos more and more now and it’s becoming more acceptable, and you can have any job you want. He used to be a BAKER, people.

  51. Sinister_Dreams says:

Is she terminal or something? To me this girl looks sick, and I think I am going to assume she only has a few months to live and figured she would go get a forehead tattoo, because Why not if she is going to die soon, right?!

  52. When did the main character from “Splice” become a real person, and why the f*ck have we not seen A follow up picture of Adriene Brody trying to F*** it?!?!?!?!

  53. FrouFrou the dog pee says:

    This tattoo tells the world:

I ain’t never gonna get a job! And you can’t make me!!!

  54. Goggles says:

Yeah, good luck with employment, sweetie…

  55. metal chick says:

why are you all saying its pretty much ok if she is sick? its ok if she isnt sick, least she doesnt follow the crowd and its her choice.
i like it but if i was her i would have done it a bit futher up.

    • boots says:

for me – not sick, just not planning/expecting a long life. 40 years is a long time to learn to regret something. 5 years is not.

    • robbie says:

Why is there always a willing volunteer to claim that people with face tattoos are simply “not following the crowd”? Miss Roseface is very much like the crowd, if you ask me. You can be a nonconformist by being sensible.

  56. XanatosGambit says:

    Good luck finding a job.

  57. devilmunchkin says:

People keep saying “she.” To me, this person looks male. The skin around the mouth and on the chin look harder like that of a man who shaves.

  58. Karen says:

So THIS is what became of Phil & Lil from Rugrats after it was cancelled.

  59. Agamid says:

this looks sooo much like my cousin’s old housemate. i won’t be surprised if it were, but I would be concerned as my cousin believed all she ever did was gospel…

  60. [...] anyone else smell a love connection? Or is that just the smell infected piercings and broken dreams? Submitted by: UnknownIncorrect [...]

  61. Nylan Smith says:

Dwight Schrewt from The Office got a face tattoo?
