Your Company’s Computer Guy!

Nerd Alert

It’s hard to imagine a nerd pledging allegiance to Windows, Mac, AND Linux. Aren’t they supposed to take sides on these sorts of issues and fight it out over a game of Dungeons and Dragons while eating Pizza Bagel Bites in their mothers’ basements? I guess I just don’t know much about computers.

  1. Thistle Dew says:

Dang! Now my tattoos of a Kaypro and Commodore 64 seem outdated.

    • MadRat says:

That’s the same thing I was thinking, other than the Kaypro part.

I can ignore it being all pimply because few people have perfect skin, but why is his back all scratched up?

    • PosterGrampa says:

Your C-64 is not really out of date looks like they are doing a modernized re-release of it ~( :-( )

      • k says:

I have never heard my dad so happy as when I called him to tell him that. I almost feel sorry for him.

        • Borat says:

Tell him it’s a stupid mini-ITX board in a box that looks like the original C64. I has an Atom CPU and runs C64 software in an emulator, the same emulator you can run on any PC.

That pos can’t compete with my real C64.

    • Joe Mama says:

As is my tattoo of a C:\> DOS prompt with a ] Apple II prompt with a DB25 serial cable.

  2. ThtJstHppnd says:

This is my kinda nerd. Pure. Not elitist

  3. Isis says:

That’s so dorky, it’s almost sexy.

  4. Headtail says:

What about those scratch marks? Looks like he is “in to” a few other things as well.

  5. MLT says:

I like it :) It’s the scratch marks that disturb me…

  6. Rauss says:

“And lo, he said unto them ‘cast off your hatred and divisions, all operating systems are created equal. Let them be unto a trinity; the Buggy, the Snobby and the Obscure. Amen.’”

  7. GT says:

I don’t get the point of the celtic knot though. It kind of spoils the composition

  8. Isabella Price says:

    Ha, I love it!

  9. Neko says:

I get ‘cat’ vibes from those scratch marks. So he’s a computer guy and a cat guy? Maybe? I also get ‘Gordian knot’ vibes from the Celtic design. I could be wrong though. Just guessing.

  10. Vladucard says:

    at least he’s getting some.

  11. Waldorf says:

So does he have Bill Gates and Steve Jobs tattooed on each buttcheek? I must know.

  12. evildave says:

I only get ‘ick’ from this.

  13. filthyPierre says:

Hmm, while the Windows and Apple logos, and Tux, don’t look so bad, the ends of the CAT5 cable look decidedly craptacular…. that’s if they’re supposed to be CAT5 that is.

    • Waldorf says:

I think the CAT5 connections melt when you try and plug two ends into three different systems :/

      • Anna Rexia says:

I like your explanation. If they can manage to copypasta the OS logos, the least he could have done was to get a decent CAT5 connector pic. This is inexcusable.

      • Borat says:

CAT5 is a cable rating, those connectors are supposed to be RJ45.

        • Anna Rexia says:

Which parts of “ends of the CAT5 cable,” “connections,” and “connector” above did you not understand? lrn2read.

  14. Seven says:

An uber dork who’s gettin some! Love it! Filthy pierre, I think the dork in you is just jeleous, question is- is it the tat, or the love life?

    • filthyPierre says:

:-) Yes, must be jealous… it’s the tat, not the love life. Maybe it’s like the thing with hands/fingers/feet/toes – some tattooists can’t draw fingers/toes and some can’t draw the ends of CAT5 cables (8P8C connectors, to be totally nerdy). I must get out more….

  15. Simp says:

    THAT IS SO AWESOME

  16. Kelly Ann says:

I will say. When I saw the heading for this one, I fully expected a tattoo of Jimmy Fallon dressed as a rude IT nerd….

  17. Aldebaran says:

he’s probably super ugly… and wanted some atention :) )

  18. Oh, no. says:

You can tell I’m an oldlady mommybrained nerd because I went “Windows, Apple, and Club Penguin? One of these things just doesn’t belong!”

  19. sprained says:

Hmmm… At least there is space to put in all the other operating systems out there, that might be feeling neglected…

BSD, BeOS, RiscOS, OS/2, Plan 9 and ‘ol Google must be really upset at not making the cut…

  20. Canuck says:

Finally a well-conceptualized tattoo. We don’t see a lot of those here – but I’ll agree – the ends of the CAT 5 aren’t so hot… bit of shame the artist didn’t take the time to detail them apporpriately.

  21. Corcoran says:

Very good, a nerd that realizes that none of those OSs are completely infallible. It always annoys me when people exclusively choose one OS as the best. They’re all good operating systems, otherwise they wouldn’t be in such wide use. I have had admittedly more significant problems with Macs than with anything else, but whatever…

  22. XJ says:

This is an awesome tat. Of course, this is coming from a nerd who has that same exact set-up on their computer (Apple computer that runs all three OS’s in the tattoo)!

  23. Nick Burns says:

He’ll fix your computer and then he’ll make fun of you!

    “MOVE!”

  24. Julie Marks says:

notice the scratches under the apple…this fag”s gettin some!

  25. f3m413 says:

i’m the source of the scratches, this is my boyfriend’s tattoo.
we’re having a good laugh that it ended up on ugliest tattoos. :)

  26. Cameron J says:

So this is my tattoo, and I guess cool for getting such a high rating. The tattoo was something I sat on for a long while (5 years) before getting, and after finding the right artist I got it done. The tattoo has the 3 OSes I use every day, and without one I wouldn’t be able to do my job to the fullest (I am a network security consultant / Pentester), and the idea was basically to say that we shouldn’t care about what OS is 1337 and which is teh suXz0rz but just choose the right one for the job. I wasn’t super pumped about the RJ45 ends, but after another couple sessions they are much better. The scratches came from my girlfriend….haters gonna hate.

Also if anyone is intrested I also have 802.11 and 802.3 with their respective symbols tattooed on the inside of my elbows.

  27. Vica says:

    Awwweeeeeyeahhhhhhhh!

  28. well then says:

Am I really the first to notice that the “Celtic knot” is in fact not? The whole point of the design is to create a mandala of one continuous thread…

  29. Terrell Owens says:

    Zoso.

  30. namenotfounduhhhhh says:

    IT”S THE TRIFORCE!

  31. Steve says:

John Paul Jones’ symbol from Zeppelin IV?
