Uh, the human heart is in the middle, guys, under the sternum. It leans slightly to the left, along with the aorta, which makes the pulse seem to emanate from that side. What this guy has is a tattoo over each lung.

The one on the right looks like she is freaking out… and, unfortunately, it’s the better likeness of the two. The one on the left has a derpy evilness about her…

“Derpy evilness” describes it perfectly. I also suspect that not a whole lot of planning went into this tattoo as she appears to be migrating into his armpit.
Maybe she’s realized how horribly she has been drawn and is trying to hide in the armpit.

It appears the tattoo artist is holding the original photo and taking the picture. This means that he/she is proud of this work: “Yeah, check it out!”

They’re not actually holding anything – they’re resting on their arms w/their hands clasped. The younger girl has her hands closer to her chest.
The glare is just because of the way the photo is bent.
All I can make out under the picture are the letters BA and what might be a D. Huh. ‘magine that. Or, it could be a G, and the whole thing reads “Dirt Bag.”
It’s really sad that the artist is holding up the picture like, “Look what I done, ain’t it perty?”
