That was an amazing movie.
One of my favorites. This is why I love Spanish directors. They can always bring it.
Pan’s Labyrinth was an abomination. Full of sociopathic violence with no emotional payoff. I absolutely loved Hellboy but with this one I wondered what the H-E-L-L was wrong with Benicio del Toro. What kind of a person makes a film like this? Pan’s Labyrinth committed the one cardinal sin of moviemaking– depicting the death of a child.

First: you’ve got your del toros´ confused. Second: you seem to have missed the point of the movie, pan’s labyrinth is not creepy horrifying by accident, it is the entire point of the movie. If you found the movie sickening then Guilliermo succeded in conveying the story’s message.

To me this looks exactly like it was airbrushed ink and not a tat. The nature of the blending and darker inks that are collecting in the pores. Nicely rendered though.

You have a good eye. *laughs to self* I didn’t see the pores before, but I was amazed that this could be a tattoo with the wonderful skin tone shading making the wrinkles look so dimensional.

It could just be the ink color/shading, but it looks like it’s covering up a burn scar around the knuckles. Pan’s Labrynth eye-palm tattoos would look cool when you lifted up both palms and pointed them at people. They would really be freaked out by that.

Wow, that is entirely too realistic. If I were going to get an eye it would be more Eye of Horus-y. And hands are second only to faces as far as getting scary tattoos goes.
