I used to think that I was born to knit. But that all changed the time I that spent two weeks’ worth of evenings knitting the entire back panel of a sweater with needles three sizes too small.
Since then I’ve discovered that I was actually born to buy my clothes from a store and spend my evenings watching Law & Order SVU.

Copy & paste this:

When he got the kanji on his chest he thought it said born to kill. When he found out what it really said he got the matching chest piece.
I adore the alternate skull and crossbones tattoos. I know a guy who has a steak with crossed grilling implements that says “Born to Grill”. I might regret this (after clown week), but an entire week of this theme could be fun.
I’m with you on the skull and crossbones tattoos, but I don’t know about a week of anything. Clown week seemed like the longest week of the summer. The absence of the jugglenuts couldn’t hurt though..
Nice tit-wigs!
Tit ‘hawks!
I like it. I would like it more if it were on a little old lady’s arm.
Heheheheheh.
I actually think this tattoo is pretty rad.
(agree)! Knitting is NOT just for grannies. Nor is it for the faint of heart.
That. Is. Awesome.
i.k.r!!
Who knew knitting could be so hardcore? Now I regret telling me grandmother that knitting was totally uncool! Boy, was I wrong.
I need to get my eyes tested. At first glance, I thought it said “Burn t6 knit” and I mistook the end of the yarn for a rat-tail. Interesting concept, but get a better font for your lettering and get rid of the rat-tail… it still looks like one even now that I know what it is.
His rejected slogans were Darn or Die, Death Before Dropped Stitches and Sweaterz 4 Life.
LOL!

You forgot ‘I’m Done Frogging’, ‘Blocking Is For Wimps’, and ’100% Superwash’
I adore this.
Yep, this one is a keeper. Not an UT.
TIT WIGS! HAHAHAHA! never heard that term before!
This one is pretty cool… That it’s on a dude, no less.. wow. That guy has some balls! (they may be made of wool, but they are huge, I’m sure!)
*sigh* hipsters
Hipsters are useless. This guy, on the other hand, could come in handy during the winter.
I knit while watching Law and Order SVU. And end up with thing way more awesome than you can find in the store. I love this tattoo.
….I have a sneaking suspicion that you’re a fellow raveler. LSG is reference to the group Lazy,Stupid and Godless, is it not?
heh, I knit/crochet while watching the Simpsons!
Sigh…A man who knits is a man of my dreams! <3
Want. Dating another knitter would be awesome. Trading patterns and tools. No more eye rolling at the size of my yarn stash.
You make knitting sound slightly dirty. Actually, the innuendos are probably just in my head.
Apparently there is a whole subculture of knit fetish wear, so you’re not alone. I’ll leave the googling to the braver posters.
I’m not going to head to knit fetish wear, but there’s a book about knit….er…..ladies’ erotic underthangs. I can’t tell if it’s meant to be comical or not.
*wear* thangs or *play* thangs?
Just curious.
Depends on the context. If it’s a modern book, probably comical. If a historcal retrospective of ladies fashions during the Victorian era, probably serious. Those ladies would crochet covers for
_everything_
to be perfectly honest? it’s a legit pattern book with different levels of under “thangs” and some fetishwear. i own it, lol. and to be even more honest? I WANT THAT TATTOO! i’d put it on my back though, lol.
I’ve taken a class from J M-M, the author of one of those books. Good stuff.
I took a quick look. Holy crap that looks itchy and hot(temperature, not sexy):

this looks like the product of a lost bet.
I think it’s really cool. And knitting and SVU (or Criminal Intent for that matter) go well together. I do it all the time.
Um, very interesting, but still just looks hot and uncomfortable to me. I did wonder how they got Pedobear interested in an adult woman.
I’m never trusting knitted lumber jacks again.
I fucking love this.
My tattoo isn’t quite that descriptive, but the guys seem to like it. Helped tame the troops when I was a medic though. They knew I knit when they saw it and joked I knit bones instead of sweaters
Sure don’t think I would bare my chest to show this one off like he is. These days everyone would run screaming if I did.
I also love this. But I can’t figure out how to work a crochet motif in there…maybe have the skull clenching a hook between its teeth?
maybe a crochet skull? with the top line almost finished, hook about halfway across>
What the hell happened to cookies and milk with grandma? “Yeah, can I have three hook and eye sets, a jumbo on the ‘Purple Cascade’ thread…
…and the AK-47 in the corner.”
“Oh, and a bottle of Nair for my Ork Nipples.”
