This picture isn’t very accurate. Larpers use foam swords.

  2. xodc. says:

Why is the guy on the right about to stab his own foot? Forfeit?

  3. IddyBiddy says:

I’m trying to figure out why the left guys sword sheath is sticking out of his ass? Maybe that is why he is standing so awkwardly.
It also looks like that left leg is a bit gimpy maybe that’s why the guy on the right is going to stab his one leg? Make it an even fight?

    • glowworm2k says:

Maybe they’re supposed to be trying to balance on a tightrope? That could explain the wobbly look. In the next session, he’s going to get the tightrope put in, along with some clowns and a bear on a unicycle.

  4. christelle says:

Merde on dirait la pucelle d’Orléans !

  5. glowworm2k says:

This is awful. It’s not fair to make drunk people with Down’s Syndrome fight each other medieval-style!

They should be having a pillow fight, a pool noodle joust or something that involves nerf guns instead….

    • IddyBiddy says:

HAHA! I just choked on my cookies. Drunk people with Down’s Syndrome. You are a genious. A sick and twisted genious. God I love this site.

    • LightWire says:

Roflmao! While your comments are both hilarious by themselves, picturing 2 drunk boys with Down’s Syndrome involved in a sword fight while hanging on a tightrope, surrounded by some clowns and a bear on a unicycle has been just too much… Bravo, sir, I bow before you. Now, if you excuse me, I must go explain my boss what’s that so funny…

to those who have never been in a sportsmanship club- the knight on the left seems to have attempted a diagonal slash left-upwards. i didnt train much with a shield but i suppose the defender should have used it instead of the sword to parry the slash. however it is the correct position of a blade deflecting a diagonal upward strike. the pictures do look a bit awkward. besides imperfect tattoing, the depicted attack is not yet in the ending phase. the knights are still taking a step forwards and backwards, attacker and defender respectively. also it may seem the knight on the right is holding the sword in his left hand but thats not true. another inaccuracy is the swords have no fullers, have rather crude cross-guards, the left shield has bad grips so it consequently is held wrong and the deflecting sword doesnt have a reasonably looking pommel.

  7. Jaddi says:

    Strange pose, very strange …

  8. Rauss says:

Of all the awesome knight tattoos he could have gotten, he gets two stunted children fighting with novelty swords.

    Bravo sir, bravo.

  9. Melissa says:

I fart in your general direction!
    English Pig dog….
Dude’s face on the left is cracking me up.
“Did I turn off the coffee pot?”

  10. PsychoJenic says:

Two men with crossed swords. Is this a gay thing? Not that there is anything wrong with that…

    • Anna Rexia says:

The one on the left looks pretty feminine to me, and the one on the right looks like a much thinner Rosie O’Donnell. I can’t get over the gimpy legs of the one on the left and why the sword sheath is underneath her top. Or is it a strap-on? Aw geez.

      • jklinders says:

The one on the right seems to be stepping on the other’s foot. “Ha! I got you now!!”

      • Rauss says:

It’s the torso on the left knight that’s disturbing me, he looks like a cross between an old fashioned water boiler and Dr Robotnik from Sonic the Hedgehog..

  11. Jam says:

The “knight” on the left has his legs crossed. That explains the facial expression- I gotta pee!

  12. katy says:

the tattoo fails, but your caption as always is a winner. Most excellent!

  13. Felix says:

SO much attention to detail.. .and yet so poorly executed… was it supposed to be a portrait of two people this person knows? why the heck didn’t you put helmets on them? then at least it would have been a “meh” tattoo instead of a portrait of Downs Syndrome kids in armor!

  14. Boob Lover says:

And whats the deal with the sword sheaths? ….A little too phallic me thinks!

  15. hotclaws says:

It’s Edmund and Peter from The Lion,The Witch and the Wardrobe.Presumable done by one of the Bulgy bears.

  16. Mike says:

$50 says that Mr. Pasty Soft Narnia boy here has more than one “jousting partner”

  17. 3BoyMom says:

Awww, how sweet! I’ve always wanted to get one of the pictures my guys drew for me tattooed on my pimply ass. Kudos to you for doing it first!

  18. Cait The Great says:

There are so many things to love about this tattoo! The deformed legs, the foot stabbing, the upside down hand holding the shield… All classic. I think what I love most, though, is the expression of our left hand man (I guess that’d be Edmund, if we’re going with the Narnia theory). “Hmm? Someone say my name?”

  19. Claire says:

Aw man, I love Narnia and this just makes me sad :(
I can understand the boy on the right’s hand and sword position (he turned his hand pretty much upside down to block a low thrust) but the other dude’s leg, their strangely narrow little feet, the phallic sword sheaths…..*cries*

The guy on the left has an image on his chest which I’m sure was meant to be a lion, but looks more like a sunflower. He also has strange little growths on the backs of ghis knees. And why does the guy on the right have stitches/hinges going up the armour on his torso?

    • Gael says:

The “hinges” going up the armor are lacings. Some plate armor came in a front and back piece, joined together w/ leather laces. One they were hung in place, they tightened up the side, much like a corset.

That is actually a correct detail, as are the odd bumps behind the hinges of the legs. They aren’t really behind, they are on the outside edge. Like this: http://www.kropserkel.com/Images/naztypeleg1.jpg

To make the leg bendable, the back of the knee has to be open. This would (obviously!) make that a target. By having a “fan” of some sort there on the side, it helps make it harder to get to the open area.

The sword pointing downward is a well done low block, if you block low w/ the hilt down, you have to bend too far down, plus the attacker has momentium to slide the sword down with force and make a good hit on your arm once it slides off your guard. This way, the attackers sword slides harmlessly off the point of yours.

But the legwork… umm…what? The guy on the right really overstepped. Horrid form. His attacker should just let his sword drop low and do a sideways swing to get that leading leg. Or rather, he would if he hadn’t decided to do some ballet halfway through the battle.

I’d also like to point out those swords are far too wide and large to fit into those sheaths…and…wrong kind of swords to be used that way. One handed swords weren’t that dang wide unless they were very short. Like a Roman sword (Gladius) which was more like a knife with an attitude. The swords used this way would most likely be longswords or bastard (aka hand & a half) swords, both of which should have more narrow blades and far more refined hilts.

Oh and…um…if you have a shield in your left hand, you will have your sword hanging on your right or across your back because you can not draw a sword from the left while holding a shield in that hand without blinding yourself by raising your shield high enough to block your own view. (Which would also leave your torso wide open for attack. Not good.)

And please don’t ask me why I know all this crap. :P

Weird scene for a tattoo. Like, if you’re this much into sword fighting, wouldn’t you go for a tad more accuracy?

      • June girl says:

I love reading all that crap! Now tell me why the left guy has the advantage of a much longer sword?

        • June girl says:

And one leg much longer than the other?

        • Gael says:

I don’t think it’s longer, I think it’s a bad attempt at perspective. We’re looking at the one on the left from the side, whereas the one on the right is more pointed at us – not directly – but enough that it should appear shorter.

Still so wrong in so many ways, lol.

  20. Nomercynary says:

I didn’t know you could tattoo over zits.

  21. K says:

    That acne…O_O

  22. Dy says:

How do people with no talent get to open tattoo shops? This is horrible! Horrible!

  23. Sphinx says:

Ummmm, how about using some soap, or going to the Doctor, nice skin man! Obviously too much time in a chair playing “roll-play games” or video games. He deserves a Sh*t tattoo for being a ween.
