funny tattoos - Behold The Elderly Baby

Look, let’s not jump to any conclusions here. Maybe this person WANTED this tattoo of their kid to look like Steve Buscemi. I mean, who among us DIDN’T feel pressure to be more Buscemi-ish growing up? I know that with my parents it was always “Why can’t you be more like that Steve Buscemi” and “Why can’t you star in critically acclaimed independent films like Steve Buscemi?” and “Would Steve Buscemi stay out until all hours of the night without calling his mother?”

It was rough.

Just buy a damn frame and frame the picture, set it up on your desk, set it as the wallpaper on your laptop. But when it comes to tattooing , just go with the kids name or something else that doesn’t look like you gave the guy a bj in exchange for a sweet tat of your kids christmas picture. These portraits never turn out because of the grey shading. Unless of course you have Kat von D or Chris Garver doing the ink. In which case go ahead and get that tat of Steve Buscemi.

rAmen, sister! There are other really good portrait artists out there, but the hack who couldn’t even get the hat right should never again be allowed to have his hands near a tattoo machine. Comparing that left-side shot to Steve Buscemi is an insult to the actor. He may be goofy looking, but he’s a good actor and seems like he probably is a cool person.

I like ramen, too, Anna! Sorry, couldn’t resist! :) I know little about tattoo artists, but I agree, those two do such amazing portraits.

And that is the saddest tattoo I think I’ve ever seen. Poor little boy, growing up seeing that on his parent’s arm.

It gets worse. It’s on her upper-left shoulder. Though the shoulders are broad (some women have them, too), the fabric of the top she’s wearing isn’t the type guys wear. Non-cross-dressing guys, that is.

It doesn’t look much like Buscemi to me. More like those poor babies with Harlequin Ichthyosis. Never a good look for something permanent on your body.

  3. Guy says:

The hats not that bad. Maybe that was the focus of the tattoo.

    Ringworm on his face… Precious!

  5. Ehh says:

On the bright side, The Santa hat looks decent, Maybe the hat was supposed to be the focal point of the picture, not the scarface baby.

    A travesty!

Love how the effort to add in the shadow next to the kids eye looks like some kind of disfigured claw.

Of course what we end up here is yet another one of the mutant children of the corn here. “Watson, my mallet and stake please.”

  8. Ge-off says:

portraits are awesome tattoos!!!, but only when the artist knows what he’s doing…

  9. shazzgal says:

omgosh this is why you need to go to a reputable tattoo artist — how sad

  10. Anna Rexia says:

If someone’s ex has that kind of habit and custody of the kid, he ain’t exactly a model parent either. Just sayin’.

    • Tr says:

I think we can safely assume that if that person has left that tat on their body for 13 years, without having it removed, then either a) they themself have “that kind of habit” too or b) they really hate their kid.

  11. Snookie_Townshend says:

The kid is utterly adorable. The tat – not so much.

  12. That Girl says:

The Santa hat is well done.

    i just….don’t understand people…..

    i’m at a loss.

  14. D.coli says:

    Well, Steve has hookworm….ewwww.

  15. Johnno says:

This artist’s (and I use the term loosely) attempts at shading leave me bewildered. I bet it really hurt when he dug that huge black line into the the baby’s temple and what’s with the scars on his cheek and under his mouth? Another great ad for laser tattoo removal.

I think babies with sideburns are lovely.

  19. ballhead1000 says:

Why the fuck do these tattoos keep getting rated down?

  20. Ash says:

Actually I think the biggest issue with the photo of the tattoo is that it’s in progress. See the slightly purplish tone of the lining where the eyes are? That’s just the stencil as the shading guide, the transfer paper most often used for stencils is that deep purple color. Some of it looks like it may have been either bloodlined or lightly lined to keep them on as the person works. You can see where the shadow on the left side of the lower cheek just kind of ends and how there’s a line that extends out from there that marks where the rest of the shadow runs on the original photo of the baby. Probably why the hat looks better than the rest of it, it’s not even done and portraits look all off midway in a lot of cases when you have to give yourself some markers for where shadows and highlights will fall. Not sure why they went with such a harsh line along the jawline but it’s a little hasty to judge too harshly when you haven’t even seen the finished product.

  21. Jo says:

Why don’t people research their tattoo artist before letting them use the gun on them?

I go to at least four or five different places, look at their portfolios etc etc etc before EVER letting them mark me permanently.

  22. FA Q ALL says:

    Do this:

    google search = images

    keyword is “tyanak”

    and see the resemblance
