Ha ha. He’s got a monkey on his back, get it? I wonder how many minutes into the many hours it must have taken to complete this tattoo that that stopped being funny. I’m going to be generous and guess 30 to 45. But I suppose the only thing worse than having a monkey on your back is having a monkey on your back that’s an eighth finished.

Did you know that you can get a tattoo at Walmart now? Yeah, there’s a kiosk right between the one-hour photo processing and the Blimpie. Unfortunately, the company’s refusal to pay a reasonable wholesale price led them to create a cheap house-brand tattoo that drove many competitors out of the market completely. In some of the more remote towns of the Midwest and rural South, this is the only tattoo anyone has.

The genius behind this piece apparently has but one weakness: the feline front paws. Just can’t nail’em. Thankfully the savvy artist has creative methods for hiding his shortcomings.

One day Stu was reading The Turn of the Screw while listening to The Pretenders’ Loose Screw and an idea hit him like a bolt of lightning.
“I know what I should do!” he said to Babaloo (his pet cockatoo). “Screw tattoos! Woo-hoo!”
And, screwed up on two too many screwdrivers, he actually went screw with it.
