To be fair, this is a lot better than the last Snow White tattoo we saw. But then again, so is the proverbial poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Or E. coli. Trench mouth. Really, anything.

Copy & paste this:

Cannot help myself but in some way, i kinda like it!
“a well done tattoo”?!? this is such an obvious photoshop!!
really? if this is a photoshop, its one of the best Ive seen. Look at the star on her left elbow, or the edges of the tat on her arms and neck… looks pretty real to me.
Fucking ridiculous, but incredibly well done.
…..Fucking ridiculous wins out.
Well, at least it’s done well… Oh how this could be so much worse!!
Yeah, it walks the line between them for a good few seconds though.
Dammit, this was replying to the comment above!
it doesn’t look like snow white, more like other disney character
The colors are amazing, but come on. You’re copying a drawing, not trying to turn a photograph of a person into a tattoo. Atleast get the face right!
What is wrong ? Its good drawing and tattoo work. And subject that we and most of the people can understand.
It is big and colorful but that up to your taste ?
What’s wrong is that children should not get tattoos. And if you still like Disney characters, you are still a child.
that is the stupidest argument i’ve read on this site. srsly.
Lmfao, what? I don’t like Disney, but it doesn’t make one a child to still enjoy their movies. Get off your high horse, hun.
Your taste in film doesn’t make you a child or an imbecile. Your reaction to other people based solely on what movies they enjoy… does.
Can’t win, can’t convince Disney lovers that Disney is evil and manipulative and bastardizes every story it gets its grubby paws on. I agree with you, Babs, but it’s a lost cause. Children love the gloss, and parents love what their children love, and they don’t get how soulless and spirit crushing it all is. All they see is the pretty colors, and not that it is shallow and abusive.
The faces are odd, not obviously so, but wrong somehow.
Damn Disney and their making life enjoyable for people in all walk’s of life!
why shouldn’t children not get tattoos?
uh double negatives much….
you are an IDIOT !
*eyeroll* dumbest logic ever.
I don’t think it’s bad at all. It’s colourful and very well done! I think it’s really great!
I think it’s because the face doesn’t look that much like Disney’s Snow White. But I bet if you looked at the woman’s face, SW’s face would look like her’s.
Well Snow White’s look changed over the years. And different artists always have different styles. ^^
But when something is based on Disney you expect the artist to copy it exactly.
Like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised to find that Snow White’s face there is exactly the same as the woman who got the tattoo. I mean, if I was to get a tattoo of my favorite Disney character (Aurora – Sleeping Beauty) I’d get my face put on her. Plus I’d make her dress purple because I like purple better then pink or blue.
so you don’t expect the artist to copy it exactly…
You only expect the artist to copy it exactly if you’re a dumbass who’s never drawn a line that wasn’t in a letter or number, mate.
http://www.children-coloring-pages.com/image/snow-white-coloring-pages.jpg There’s the reference picture for Snow White herself. Aside from shading differences, they don’t look that different.
I think her dress is a much more notable difference.
She kinda looks like Ann Hathaway, actually……………
Wow, I’m sorry, but I really like it. Of course it’s nothing I would ever get, but it’s very well done. And Babs, as soon as you have children you love Disney again. And even if you don’t have kids, that doesn’t make you a child for still loving Disney. Old ladies still love Disney. Lighten up.
Sorry, but if I saw a grown person looking like this, my assumption would be that she was developmentally delayed.
Not necessarily. Especially if you want to pursue a career in animation, illustration or graphic design.
I love Disney movies for their craftmanship. Remember, animation is a medium, not a genre.
And my assumption would be that you’re a pompous ass =]
I don’t like Disney, not at all, but this tattoo is kinda nice. Definitely well executed and pretty. I refuse to make fun of people simply for liking cute things.
@Babs: Everyone who likes Disney is a child?? Go and tell this the millions of visitors in Disneyparks all over the world or the people who have Disney movies on dvd. It’s much more childish to see the world just in black and white…
i actually like this. i would never get it though
it’s so well done, why does it have be so fucking stupid?
Hey it’s my 5 year old sister’s trapper keeper!! Except I love nick jonas isn’t scribbled across the Queen’s forehead.
Score.
Love the comment but have to admit stupidity when I ask… What’s a ‘trapper keeper’? Never heard of one before. ;(
They are looseleaf binders with Velcro flaps and they typically have artwork on them. Wow, I didn’t know they still made Trapper Keepers, I thought that was an 80s thing. Trapper Keeper + Jonas Brothers = confusion.
Disney Yakuza! Hee! Also, I agree that this is reminiscent of Indian/Hindu artwork. Those are some briiiiiiight colors.
Well actually it’s like a disney binder. I fail to tell the difference between a trapper keeper and a binder. :S
It’s basically a Filofax for high school students. You have the binder made of fabric with a velcro/magnetic seal. Inside it is like a ring binder, but with three sliding rings rather than snap-lock rings. The classic versions would have themes like smurfs, snow-white and the dwarves, Superman or Star Wars on the outside (back in the 70′s everything was themed – even the wallpaper).
High school students? You’re kidding right? Trapper Keepers were the rage amongst 9-12 year olds. Last I checked – that’s not high school.
wow!! trapper keepers!!! i totally had one of those! and Lisa Frank folders! if you weren’t a child of the 80′s early 90′s, you wouldnt understand. But i remember them like they were yesterday lmao
I like the tattoo for the art – I think they did a fabulous job of it. I question why someone would want this particular one as full-back art, but I can’t deny that its really beautifully done.
Well, when she’s in the nursing home, it’ll have transformed into a homage to the Golden Girls on PCP and angel dust.
is PCP not the same as Angel Dust?
… Phencyclidine (a complex clip of the chemical name phenylcyclohexylpiperidine, commonly initialised as PCP), also known as angel dust and other street names …
Don’t know if I’d want to stare at Snow White and the Queen while I’m banging her cinammon hole.
I hope you’d rather have these tatts staring at you than that marionette(sp?) doll from a couple days ago.
“banging her cinammon hole” anyone that makes a comment like that has got 2 chances of “banging her cinammon hole”. Slim and f#@k all.
/giggle
/snort
Ask your mom about that…she likes a double glaze!
Did you know you can sing “banging her cinnamon hole” to the tune of “I Went to the Animal Fair”?
LOL! I <3 you, Kit.
At least it’s well done =D
Good work, if your gonna decorate your body this is miles better than most aimless efforts. Some people seem to get a different, unrelated tattoo every other paycheck and their body looks like a garage sale. This tattoo does not belong on this site. It’s a very well done tattoo.
Disney and Lisa Frank merger?
I think it’s a shame the noses don’t look right. And what is that to the left of the dwarves, looks like a meteor is falling down. Something about the colors and the pose reminds me of traditional Hindu art.
It’s a skull with a triskelion on its forehead. I love the colours and complexity of this back piece, but between Snow White’s face not looking like it should, and then the blackwork skull off to the left of the dwarves, this definitely runs higher on the WTF scale.
..
In other news, from here on, I’m going to act childish by referring to Babs as “Crabs.”
Lol. Ok I deserve it. Sorry to have been so quick to judge and piss so many people off. I’ll take a moment to think before hitting send next time.
Really lovely tattoo, but nothing that a t-shirt couldn’t have done as well. I think about the things I loved at her age that I would be embarrassed as hell to have on my body now; indeed, many of my friends who got tattoos when they were young regret the poorly planned ones. This doesn’t strike me as something that is going to age well, and don’t these types of high color tattoos take a lot of maintenance? Still, a stunning piece. I hope she stays happy with it!
If she stays out of the sun, and guessing by the tone of the skin on her arms, she does, it should age pretty well. I have work that’s 25 years old that people would swear isn’t more than two or three years on. Other than the bright peach colour that was used on one of my roses, none of mine need reworking.
Yellows and pinks fade more, but the work done here is very clean (kudos to the artist for superbly-even work!) and still should age nicely. Hopefully one of the tattoo artists who come around here from time to time will chime in. I also forgot that the inks used these days are better quality than those used years ago.
Yet another, “If i was this woman’s mate and I was doing her doggie style what would I be looking at?” I couldn’t. I just could not make love to her from behind. I guess it’d be like going to Disney Land but yet it’d be not like going to Disney Land. I’d be giving some fucking princess a happy ending- or a prince or a few dwarves…wtf?
So glad I’m not alone in finding this one really pretty! Not my thing, but I think it’s a great piece. Snow White has this kind of…almost anime look to her eyes.
Incredible coloring. Insanely incredibly coloring.
Just out of curiosity, how many of the commenters actually have tattoos? Multiple tattoos? Because I have sleeves and while I don’t understand most of the tattoos on here, I can point out the positives to a very well executed tattoo. So what if it would be better on a t-shirt! She chose to have it as a tattoo and it looks brilliant. I don’t really see how this falls under bad, awful, or horrible. A little silly, yes. Ugly, heavens no.
I have tattoos, and I totally agree with you that this is a beautiful piece of work, if not something I would choose for myself. However, the admin has stated several times that not everything posted here is “ugly”, she just didn’t feel like changing the name to tattoosworthyofcommentary.com.
So what do you suppose is going on under the panty-line? More dwarves, I suppose…?
Hopefully the artist inked Happy in the right place.
I’m just wondering why the other arm is leopard print. Does Snow White have a sister from Jersey?
*snicker*
It probably was done, along with the skull on her left side and whatever it is on the back of her neck, prior to the huge back piece. Maybe she has Jungle Book on the other side.
it would be funny if Disney sued her for copyright infringements. Wouldn’t put it past them! I agree with some of the other posters this is a well done tattoo that is OTT but does not deserve to be on the same page as penis finger.
I was thinking, “Disney Police in 3…2…1…”
The only time this tattoo works is when it’s on the wall of a little girls bedroom.
Of course, perhaps the whole idea of the Disney characters has a far deeper meaning to this person than the simple knee-jerk commercial, “value,” others attach to it. There is nothing childish, emotionally/mentally stunted, or immature about this tattoo–a backpiece of this magnitude isn’t the spontaneous, flippant flight-of-fancy that so many of the tattoos on this site seem to be. This was THOROUGHLY thought out, mapped, planned, and executed… perhaps over the course of months or even years. That shows a commitment to the piece that you don’t see with many people and their choices for tattoos.
Because the level of execution is high, it bothers me even more that Snow White is so far from the iconic Disney character. With a young daughter I have seen Snow white imagery a lot recently, including the glitter stickers that do this ornate version of her traditional costume. The problem is primarily the nose. Snow White’s nose is a snub button with no indication of a bridge. But the egregious error is the simplest thing — her eyebrows. They are too low, thick and close set. It makes the whole face look off and wrong. Maybe she that’s actually The tattoos owner as Snow white?
here’s a screen cap from the film to remind you how different this looks:
http://s194.photobucket.com/albums/z118/disney4you2/Snow%20White/part%201/?action=view¤t=PDVD_210.jpg
Oh, but I found this image — it is from a kleenex box. And it suggests the problem is the nose…and the fact that the lips are a bit coarse and the face is not dark enough vis a vis the eyebrows…
http://joechip.net/liana/uploads/disney-princess-jewels-snow-white-cinderella-belle-sleeping-beauty-kleenex.png
I think what bothers me is that it’s Snow White with the face of a more contemporary Disney princess. Snow White has a certain look that later princesses didn’t have. And as you said, the proportions are off. Maybe that was a deliberate effort to thwart the Disney lawyers?
beautifully done, incredible color…but it looks like something I could buy at the Disney store. It just doesn’t look that unique; I see designs like this every time I walk past the kid’s section at Target.
But I’m not one to talk…I’ve got the ruby slippers tattooed on my back.
Maybe the faces were mangled on purpose. Disney is famous for cracking down on daycares and whatnot for unlicensed use of their characters.
Coming to a DisneyWorld near you – the Disney tattoo shop – walk-ins welcome. Come in for a free consultation where one of our artists will help guide you in your choice of artwork from a classic single animation to a complete widescreen backdrop. Prices depend upon size.
Looks like someone puked a big bag of Skittles on her.
This tattoo looks really great and colorful and I actually like it, though who wants their back basically being a billboard (albeit a really pretty one)?
snow white kinda looks like a dude. I’m kinda ashamed to admit I like the colors.
You can’t deny the graphics are amazing. Its just…so much.
You gotta keep epileptics away from her
Though the faces are a bit off, this is really impressive work. The colors are gorgeous and I love her dress. Not my cup of tea, but not ugly.
This tattoo is an awesome piece of work. I have a Disney tattoo of my own, though not nearly as big as this one. To all of you who don’t understand why she would do this, so what? It is her choice as to what she puts on her body, not yours. I’m sure not everyone understands why you have the ink you do, but do you care. My mother, for one, hates my tattoos, but that doesn’t bother me. It is my body and I will put on it what I want.
I’ve never seen Snow White look so “bedazzled” before. She’s quite decked out.
This is a very nice piece…as many have said, not something that I would choose for myself, but she obviously put thought and planning into it. Does anyone else think that maybe the Queen was done by another artist? I’m asking because her hand seems better executed than Snow White’s hand.
Mmmm… I think they are done by the same artist, the noses are what gives it away IMO.
it’s pretty, but as my friend said: “that chick is a coloring book”
And yet she still has very long (and what looks like full and well-conditioned) hair. For those times she wants to cover up, perhaps?
Oh God, look out Doc! Some kind of terrible C’thulu monster has been awakened by the gaudiness!
On a technical note, do these bright colors hold up well to the test of time?
niiiiiiice!!
Well, it’s certainly done really well, that’s for sure. It’s just.. it seems _weird_.
i LOVE it
I think the prince looks more like the dude from Sleeping Beauty than the one from Snow White.
Fear the Disney Yakuza.
But srsly, I also think this is well done. Kudos to her for having the guts to make such a large and indelible statement!
The only thing wrong with it really is the shading on the left side of SW’s nose (our right). Cover it up on your screen and see how much better it looks.
I like the pic the artwork is great ,but not on a body…sorry especially on a female.
I think body tattoo’s on females are unfeminine a couple small one’s are sexy.
Imagine that when she’s old and saggy.
Beautiful tatoo, simply beautiful.
However, your busy doing the deed, watching and smiling at Snow White. When out the corner of your eye you spot Doopy staring at you, then Doc, then Grumpy, then the rest. They just stare; your no longer at attention. Must find a solution, quick. I’ve got it! DUCT TAPE! Just a couple of turns around my p*cker and I’m back in the game. Don’t need no stinking Viagra!
Actually my niece has a disney princesses backpack that has this exact same drawing on snow white- it’s lifted directly from the official disney art so don’t blame the tattooist for the style
Well, it’s very nicely done. Whoever did it did really good.
I suppose I’d also have sex with someone who had this tattoo. I’m pretty sure they’d let me wear a tiara during, at least!
Do you think if you follow the tattoo(which I think is well done) down you’ll find the dwarves with a pick axe digging for jewels in the crack of her bottom?
That’s beautiful! Wow.
Thank you so much. I now feel better about my plans to submit my sister in law’s tattoo. It’s Beauty and the Beast…the Ron Perlman version, I’m afraid.
Man… I had to look that up; consider me teased, I want to see that tattoo now XD
you must submit this
DUDE that’s not even the correct prince in the background. That’s the prince from Sleeping Beauty.
LOL.
that chick has one HELL of a set of issues with her stepmother. I hope she discussed the tat with her therapist before having it inked in. Looks great though
I’ll be honest, I think it looks great! Aesthetically, its pretty damn amazing, come on.
As a tattoo artist this is either not a tattoo at all or it has been photoshopped to the maxxxxxxxxx!!
I don’t care about it being on this site, that is a fucking awesome tattoo!
not ugly at all!!! very well done!!
The way I see it is, it does not matter if SHE likes disney.. it matters if the dude bangin’ that from the back likes disney.
gorgeous work on that, 40 yrs its going to be stinkin ugly though
Wow, look at those colours! It is kinda ugly, but it’s also really well done and so vivid!
It’s actually a real tattoo:

Well Done! I Like it!
Ok, I NEVER comment on these things but SO many of you have pissed me off I HAVE to have my 2 cents worth!!
1. It’s a tattoo, lots of people have them now and if it wasn’t for the individualism of each tattoo wearer we’d all be running around with the same tatts of anchors and swallows.
2. I was staring at the pic hard-out for ages trying to find a flaw, thinking that all the fuss was about the artist leaving a big fat accidental line or something, no, then what’s the problem?!
3. Yes Disney is evil but leave the kids out of it (Maybe you have to BE a parent to understand this), are you really going to blame a child for loving bright colours and happy images?! I hate Disney and look the other way whenever my kids watch it – because it’s harmless, they dont even notice what we adults do – do you really think I’m going to deny my kids some happiness just cause Disney didnt get their story 100% historically correct?!
4. You do NOT have to be of a certain age group to enjoy cartoons!! I’m a 31 year old man whose favourite TV shows of all time are still Transformers, Voltron & Dragonball Z, simply because they’re better thought out and constructed then so-called “Adult entertainment”. I also work as a freelance artist, barely 20 hours a week is enough to provide for my family of four, and the majority of my money comes from people who want their favourite cartoon character immortalised in a tattoo design, or want a portrait of their favourite superhero.
4. I’m also a trained tattooist and all I have to say on that subject is, have any of you complainers ever TRIED to do a tattoo?? Skin is not paper you fools, it’s infinitely harder! And considering most people cant draw a stick figure to save themselves I’d like to see them do better. This tatt is an amazing piece of work, bold, vivid, and obviously crafted with a lot of time and care – well done to the artist!!
5. Big minds talk about ideas. Average minds talk about events. Small minds talk about people…. either grow some brains or get a life!!!
*End Rant*
I only see three dwarves – are the rest on her arse?
I have not read all the posts here, but I was really surprised to see this one. The artist who did this one is here in Taiwan (I am a Canadian residing in Taiwan) and I have seen it in person. It really is that bright and it has not been through photoshop. Aside from the subject, the tattoo is amazing.
I totally agree with Paul, the artwork is amazing!
Little too much “Snow”
nice work, bad subject.
girl has awesome skin, takes colour nicely, too bad she picked that tattoo
I wanna meet this girl, she looks really fun.
WOW! Love it! I wanna hang out with her!
Forgot to mention that in Asia in general, “cute” is huge. It’s simply part of the culture. Why do you think Hello Kitty made it so big and is STILL so popular? Furthermore, Asian artists rarely do this style of work. It has only been recently that they have stepped outside their own traditional boundaries. That in itself is something to think about. On the downside, the artist plays politics here in the Taiwanese tattoo artist community and is a bit of a prick. A very talented prick, but a prick nonetheless. PS You cannot hang out with her, she is married and her husband is da ge (gangster) related.
I think it’s rad!
Amazing.
realy well done, colors are great! a realy good artist did this, so what if the content is childish in the view of some, its fking awsome
I love it,good detail
I would imagine that a gay Yakuza might find this appealing.
