Sorry that I only have ironic crucifixion tattoos for you on Christmas. It seems no one gets ironic nativity tattoos. Maybe next year.
Anyway, I know that Gumby occasionally sought to educate children by bringing storybooks to life, but I think the episode where they did the Bible went too far.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe Pokey’s the one that won Messiah Gumby’s clothes?
I was also wondering how Gumby is bleeding. Mr. Bill gets squished all the time, and he never bleeds.
I’m surprised he bleeds red. I figured it would have been green or even purple.
Why doesn’t Gumby have legs? Gumby had legs on his show.
He does have legs…the left one is in front of the right, the way Christ on the Cross is depicted in paintings.
What’s more disturbing is why a wooden letter block is dressed like a Roman Centurion…

Because Gumby and Pokey used to always fight the Blockheads.
The Roman is a Blockhead.

I think Pokey is either meant to look like he’s playing the part of Mary Magdalene or something.
The Blockheads from the cartoons were J and G – unknown why, but at least they were true to the claymation original, I guess… ?
There’s one where the Blockheads are featured fairly prominently.
I think it would have been cooler to have Prickle, though not true to his character, it would have looked cooler :/

As for Pokey smiling… maybe he’s supposed to be Jewish? >.> I didn’t really get that one either, that’s the best I can come up with. Either that, or he’s sick of Gumby’s company/sass and is enjoying his torture before his inevitable death.

Being in Yoorup, none of these cartoon characters are in any way familiar to me, so if there’s an in-joke here, I’ve totally missed it. Making this a very ugly tat indeed!

random as fuck idea…but…still, the work is awesome.
granted there are some really awful tattoos on here…theres quite a few that dont deserve to be in the catergory of “ugliest tattoos”.

I think it actually looks pretty cool for a bad tattoo but who would want that on their body?
