This actually kind of reminds me of this Hokusai painting:

That is if, instead of an iconic Japansese woodblock artist, Hokusai had been an awkward Russian teenager, giving his fellow juvie inmates amateur tattoos. But hey, journey of a thousand miles, right?

Copy & paste this:

Puma is sad because he hasn’t yet found the Mack truck that ran over his head.
I think the puma is at the dentist. The dentist has just taken out his drill and said “Open wide, Puma!” (The next tattoo will have a picture of a dentist half-eaten by a puma.)
That looks just like the art of Napoleon Dynamite!
Was this guy taking a nap while getting his tattoo? Serious ROFLMAO.
It kind of looks like Domo-kun from NHK, if he were a sad puma…
On an unrelated note…
Houksai paintings make for great tattoos. I’ve got two Hiroshige tattos and I love them.

The LSD must be good in this Russian young offenders institute!
does that puma have a goatee?
Possibly — so it doesn’t JUST need a tooth brush, it might also need a shave?
See this guy had to have liked the design, because before you get a tattoo, you pick out what you want, or you look at the artist’s other work…ALSO I thought it was protocol for tattoo artists to draw it out on the transfer paper, then pat it on your skin so you know if its in the right position and how it would look on the spot you chose…
I have seen that tattoo somewhere before! Like, in the vein of Ren and Stimpy, I believe. Now I’ll be all curious and have to see if I can dig it up.
Everytime I see this I laugh ferociously.
I can’t think why…
Oh, I found this guy’s cousin, the cracked-out tiger, on a t-shirt: http://stopnreflect.com/2009/06/25/sartorial-anti-drug-commercial-for-the-animal-kingdom/
Why so sad? Big cats are not this tatter’s forte. Like the anti-ad for this shop. Glad it’s not me.
Oiwa wouldn’t be a bad tattoo, at least then when people ask wtf it is you can sit them down and tell them a epic ghost story. I don’t get the cat with the apple…? Maybe its sad its an apple and not a kitty treat?
Y’know, I think the person-lantern-thing is an excerpt from a Keith Thompson painting of a Yokai. It’s got the same hair and expression (kinda), but it’s in more detail.
Oh, shoot, sorry. I was unclear. Keith Thompson didn’t create the yokai or anything. Hokusai’s art just reminded me of the picture of Mr. Thompson’s.
Is that Grendel?
The sad puma remains my favorite one on this site
